Before you start painting, you'll need to prepare your space. Lay down a drop cloth to protect your flooring from any stray drips of paint. Then, use painter's tape to tape off any areas you don't want to get paint on, like the wall above the baseboard or any nearby furniture.


Step 2: Clean your baseboards
